A private boutique three day party from 12pm Friday March 7th, until 10pm Sunday March 9th (camping until midday Monday) at an exquisite setting beside Kaitoke Beach, Great Barrier Island.
Curated by Giulio Cavallo and Simone Fougère from It's a Day Party Thing, with music being selected from the very best in house, deep house, deep minimal tech, micro house, minimal techno and dub techno underground sounds. You'll experience long deejaying sets to take the dancefloor on an intimate journey.

Honestly, this party has been a long time coming (we've been imagining this happening for over four years now!) so we are BEYOND excited to present and create It's a Day Party Thing Weekender for you at the private Sugarloaf @ Kaitoke beach campsite. It's a really cute, cosy, creatively rustic spot and has enough room to share the fun with 300 like-minded souls. Nestled in trees, but right on the beach.

Kaitoke is also a simply stunning surf beach, so bring your tent, your surf board, your dress up fun and your smile and come play ! You can even walk along to the site from the airport in 30 minutes, but there willl be free (koha appreciated) airport transfers as well.

One last thing you should know ~ It's a Day Party Thing Weekender is an R18 party because as much as we love children we also want everyone to be free of distractions so they can enjoy meeting new friends and dancing their feet off !

We really wanna make it an easy decision for you to come play with us, so we're keeping it affordable and asking for a koha of just $175 - which includes music, 3 days camping and all organic food (6 meals) !

Quality, decently priced food can be tricky here on the Barrier and we want everyone to feel AMAZING throughout so we're going to provide all organic food as a daily brunch and dinner from Friday night until Monday morning for everyone. And yes, it will include vegetarian and gluten free options :)

​Discounted flights and ferry travel
​We've also managed to secure discounted prices for flights from Dairy Flat/North Shore, Ardmore, Waiheke and Auckland with Island Aviation and Barrier Air. They come in at $340-$400 return.

​The party is on private property and will be BYO only. When you are picked up from the airport (unless you wish to walk!) there is an optional stop at The Rocks bottle shop in Claris centre where you can purchase drinks, if you so wish. Ice will also be available onsite to purchase.
Sorry, no dogs are allowed anywhere onsite.​
